Despite the sandy weather, Think Pink Bahrain launched the breast cancer awareness month in the Kingdom on Friday, 30 September 2016. For the ninth consecutive year, this has been done with the support of the Harley Davidson Ownership group (HOG’s Bahrain Chapter).
A total of 125 bikers from HOG’s and other motorcycle groups supported the Charity awareness drive. With three stops staged and a total of 36 kilometers. This awareness ride launches Think Pink Bahrain’s annual campaign.
Many of the riders have been supporting the charity since 2009 and ride with the belief that as a group we can make a social change. Daughters riding with fathers and wives on the back of bikes, everyone collaborated for the same reason- to support the cause and emphasize the importance of early detection.
The riders donned their pink wigs and decorated their rides as a show of support. 330 BD was donated and the awareness was priceless. Finishing at ART Rotana- here starts an incredible month for Think Pink Bahrain.
