Think Pink Day At The British School Of Bahrain

As an effort to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer, The British School of Bahrain devoted Thursday, the 24th October, to be ‘Think Pink Day’. Students were encouraged to accessorize in pink, and the had various items ranging from pink headbands, neckties, and wristbands to pink hair dye, in support of the cause.

On the same afternoon, the Sixth Form Charity Committee also arranged a Breast Cancer Walkathon, which had over 70 students, parents and teachers as participants.

Thursday’s events generated 375 dinars, all of which have been donated to Think Pink Bahrain: Bahrain Breast Cancer
